Let me tell you guys something - there's a huge age gap between 21 and 22. Feeling like I've just turned 30! Before you know it, I'll be 25, then married with kids at 30, then the big 5-0, then I'll be 60 and become presbyopic, then I'll probably need cataract surgery at 70, then I'll die. Wow, that was morbid. Maybe it's the fact that I have clinical placement tomorrow and I'll be ALL ALONE because my supervising orthoptist is away and I'm freaking out! But that's for another post...
I had a low key celebration with my close friends today (still recovering from the stress of planning two 21st parties). My always wonderful boyfriend organised everything without me knowing. I had tacos for the first time at El Loco today. $5 tacos and nachos, amazing! Check out their menu here! I had the beef and chicken ones, delish.
Mum surprised me with the leather Pandora bracelet I wanted (but reluctant to spend money on)!

Another exam done and dusted! Just two more to go until America! I'm also meeting up with the girls on Friday before I head off so another outing to look forward to :)

Speaking of work, three of the best people I've ever worked with have left the company so I went to their farewell dinner at the Bavarian Bier Cafe in Parramatta on Saturday.

Went to Hurricanes for the first time with Jonathon today. It was our make up lunch date for our 5 years yesterday. The food was delicious! Jonathon made the mistake of ordering BBQ chicken wings for our starter; they were so messy to eat! Had to use our hands. Classy bitches.
Aileen's birthday was the only 21st I've committed myself to so far this month. With no more birthdays or parties coming up, I'm going to stay away from stores and online shopping until next month! I'm having withdrawals already and can already think of things I need want to buy (a new iPhone case, for one. The case I'm currently using has a crack near the silent button but I'll live). Wish me luck!
