Greetings from the middle of nowhere! I'm close to the end of my 2nd week of placement in Broken Hill (
I talked about it here) and it's been a week full of highs and lows. Some really strange things have also been happening while I'm here, but I won't go into detail about it because seriously, you guys will just think I'm nuts.
In the past two weeks, I've:
- Driven for 4 hours straight at 110km/h
- Ridden on a horse bareback
- Ridden on a camel
- Cooked dinner for 8 people without giving anyone explosive diahorrea
- Learnt how to play poker and cleaned everyone up twice (huhu)
- Realised that I cannot stand whiny bitches who act like princesses
But this is such a good opportunity to test run me potentially working in Boston next year. I'm so close to securing the job and it scares me when I think about being away from Jonathon and my family for so long :( any advice on how to get through?
