The Year of Sophia is going well. Regular exercise sessions with Lawson are back on track and my self imposed fast food ban just passed two weeks! Got a meeting with my course coordinator next week to sort out my final weeks of uni so life is definitely on track!

It's been a hot hot hot summer, just the way I like it. I've only been to the beach once, though. Got my nigz on. Got a little sunburnt. But it's all good in the neighbourhood.

Lounging around at home waiting for exercise in the afternoon with Lawson. Before the uni holidays started, I had this brilliant plan of all the things I was going to accomplish over the break. Learn to play the guitar. Bake from scratch. Take up a hobby. Read a book. Watch a movie by myself.

So far, I've completed only one thing from the list. I baked Anzac biscuits from scratch, they turned out really hard to bite. I also tried an unbaked lemon cheesecake for Mum's birthday a few weeks ago, that failed epically after it failed to set and tasted waaaaayyyy too sweet (I knew two cans of condensed milk was too much)! The guitar strings really hurt my fingers. I haven't been to the library to borrow and book yet and I still don't know how to download books to my Kindle. As for hobbies, I've yet to find a cheap one. Found some cool DIY elbow patch jumpers and floral headbands to try out, might do them soon. Maybe I'll try to do a jigsaw puzzle. But I'm out of space in my room to hang any more things.

So many ideas, none of them executed. Isn't that always the way it is in life? Expectations > reality.
